Job summary
The DevOps Engineer role focuses on managing and enhancing the Event-Streaming Service (ESD) on the OpenShift platform while addressing user needs and developing the Belastingdienst Schema Store (BSS) as an independent service. Responsibilities include utilizing technologies such as Apache Kafka, Strimzi, Java, and Apicurio, and collaborating within the ICC platform team to ensure effective service delivery.
Qualifications
- Minimum HBO work and thinking level
- At least 2 years of experience in setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting an OpenShift/Kubernetes platform
- Knowledge and experience in platform monitoring and logging
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the Event-Streaming Service (ESD) on OpenShift
- Address user needs and support new users
- Develop and expand the Belastingdienst Schema Store (BSS) as an independent service
- Collaborate within the ICC platform team and contribute to team formation
- Work with Apache Kafka, Strimzi, OpenShift, Java, and Apicurio
