Job summary
The DevOps Engineer helps build and operate production infrastructure for a character platform offering APIs, administrative tools, and real-time voice experiences. The role improves CI/CD pipelines and safe deployments, maintains infrastructure as code across AWS accounts, and builds monitoring, alerting, and secure access practices as the platform grows to support more partners.

Qualifications
- At least 3 years of DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering experience operating production systems on AWS.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, such as AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform, or Pulumi.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for containerized services.
- Working knowledge of ECS or Kubernetes and AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancers, and DNS.
- Working knowledge of Python or TypeScript for scripting and automation.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment and documenting runbooks.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and shared templates.
- Implement deployment strategies for containerized services, including health checks and automatic rollback.
- Maintain and extend infrastructure as code across multiple AWS accounts.
- Build and tune monitoring and alerts.
- Manage access and secrets using least-privilege permissions, short-lived CI credentials, and managed secrets.
- Support environment management and developer tooling.
