Job summary
The Software Developer supports a DevOps group building a next-generation platform, collaborating with software product teams in an Agile development environment. The role maintains CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub, supports critical R&D infrastructure, manages repositories and DevOps policies, and improves the software development lifecycle toolchain and developer experience. Relevant technologies include Jenkins, Artifactory, Azure, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- At least two years of coding and scripting experience in the Microsoft ecosystem
- Experience with source control systems such as GitHub, GitLab or Git is a plus
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory and Azure DevOps
- Experience with Azure or AWS cloud is a plus
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes container architectures is a plus
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ownership, accountability and strong collaboration skills
- Understanding of IT infrastructure components
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Self-starter able to take ownership of tasks and projects
- Systems and enterprise thinking
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with and support software product teams in an Agile development environment
- Implement, maintain and support CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub
- Support infrastructure for critical day-to-day R&D operations
- Manage GitHub repositories, access rights and organizational DevOps policies
- Maintain the DevOps toolchain supporting the software development lifecycle
- Improve the developer experience and R&D operational processes
- Investigate technologies to improve daily R&D operations
- Support infrastructure and service monitoring and alerting
