DevOps Engineer II

Job summary

Designs, implements, and maintains automated infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support reliable, scalable, and secure software delivery. The role uses AWS, Terraform, and scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell, while partnering with development and cybersecurity teams to monitor systems, resolve issues, respond to security incidents, and meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of experience in a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Experience with AWS.
• Proficiency with Terraform.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience or certifications.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Multi-cloud experience is a plus.
• Comfort working in a flexible Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain scalable infrastructure through automation.
• Collaborate with developers and cybersecurity engineers to promote DevSecOps practices.
• Apply security best practices to infrastructure and deployments.
• Document infrastructure configurations and deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Partner with cyber analysts and engineers to monitor and respond to security incidents and support regulatory compliance.
