Job summary

The DevOps Engineer role involves standardizing and automating CI/CD processes while ensuring the operational integrity of the 'Digital Credentials' platform. Responsibilities include implementing monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk, and collaborating with software engineering teams to maintain system performance and availability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or technical training with relevant experience
• Experience in cloud environments and container orchestration, preferably with Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Understanding of SRE principles and interest in practical implementation
• Proficiency in scripting and dynamic programming languages (e.g., Shell, Python, Go)
• Knowledge of Linux and software versioning, preferably with git
• Analytical and service-oriented work style, enjoyment of agile teamwork
• Fluency in German and/or English (minimum C1) and willingness for on-call duty (24/7)
