Job summary
The DevOps Engineer role is centered on maintaining and enhancing foundational technologies to deliver highly available, distributed services on a time series platform. Responsibilities include managing Kubernetes infrastructure, automating processes with Terraform, and troubleshooting complex issues across cloud environments like AWS, Google, and Azure.
Qualifications
- Production-level experience with Kubernetes and surrounding ecosystems
- Experience with Terraform and other automation tooling
- Hands-on experience with production workloads within managed and self-managed Kubernetes platforms
- CI/CD experience
Responsibilities
- Maintain and extend foundational technologies
- Provide highly available, distributed services
- Design, implement, and operate large scale, multi-cloud Kubernetes infrastructure
- Participate in low-volume pager rotation
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Kubernetes and infrastructure
