DevOps Engineer

Job summary

The DevOps Engineer will provide platforms and infrastructure to support software delivery, manage live cloud infrastructure, and drive architectural vision. The role involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to enhance DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement architectural vision for cloud infrastructure projects
• Undertake detailed design work in line with architectural vision
• Manage and implement DevOps vision across development and infrastructure projects
• Maintain documentation and quality control mechanisms
• Engage with external suppliers for platform integrations
• Understand key business processes and economic environment
• Manage team activity using Agile methodologies
• Provide environments and infrastructure for project development
• Ensure defined NFRs are implemented and tested
• Embed and improve quality controls
• Review work and code of team members
• Assist in investigation and resolution of live issues
• Ensure Service Transition controls and documentation are provided
• Manage usage and costs on cloud platforms
• Implement best practices in development and support of cloud platforms
• Improve team performance through knowledge sharing
• Review work practices to refine Agile practices
• Maintain knowledge of current DevOps technologies
• Engage with external parties to share knowledge
• Participate in Agile ceremonies
