DevOps Engineer

Job summary

Logicalis Spain is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their managed services team, focusing on the operation, evolution, and automation of critical container-based platforms and CI/CD processes.

Qualifications

• Senior experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE in managed services
• Solid experience managing and operating Kubernetes and OpenShift in production
• Advanced knowledge of CI/CD and real experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD
• Experience with Git and continuous integration and deployment methodologies
• Experience in Day 2 automation, configuration management, and infrastructure as code
• Proficient in Ansible, Helm, and Terraform
• Scripting and automation skills with Python and Shell Script
• Experience in hybrid, on-premise, and cloud environments
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed and containerized platforms
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Automation-oriented mindset focused on continuous improvement and service quality

Responsibilities

• Administer and evolve container platforms like Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS, and EKS
• Design and maintain Day 2 automation processes to reduce manual tasks
• Automate infrastructure and configuration using Ansible, Helm, and Terraform
• Develop automation scripts and tools with Python and Shell Script
• Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD
• Manage deployments, upgrades, configurations, backups, and troubleshooting
• Monitor health, capacity, performance, and availability of platforms
• Proactively analyze problems and define preventive actions
• Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations teams
• Define and apply operational, security, automation, and documentation standards
• Act as a technical reference, assisting team members and guiding decision-making
• Participate in continuous improvement and technological evolution initiatives
