Job summary

The DevOps Engineer role focuses on the concept, development, and operation of build and integration pipelines for connected machines. Key responsibilities include automating CI/CD processes, managing device fleets, and implementing security concepts, while utilizing technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, and Terraform.

Qualifications

• End to End understanding of modern Connectivity/IoT systems
• Creation and operation of containers and deployments
• Experience in automation and orchestration
• Strong knowledge of configuring and managing build pipelines
• Sound knowledge of various network and encryption protocols
• Proficiency in programming and scripting
• Knowledge in configuring & building embedded Linux systems
• Knowledge & interest in the latest software architecture principles and AI-based development practices
• Ability to speak, understand and write English fluently

Responsibilities

• Conceptual design, development and operation of the device management tools & infrastructure
• Automate CI/CD, build, test, and deployment processes
• Manage and monitor the device fleet
• Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements
• Identify and implement best practices in DevOps and IoT development
• Evaluation and prototyping of the latest tools and trends in software development
• Enforce and implement high-class security concepts in systems and products
• Support system integration and test in an agile team
