DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

Job summary

Support clients in cloud transformations by developing system architectures on AWS and other infrastructure providers. Advise on the design and development of complex business intelligence architectures and data infrastructures.

Qualifications

• Completed (technical) university degree in information technology or comparable qualification
• At least 2 years of experience with cloud systems like AWS, Azure, GCP or comparable solutions and about 3 years of experience in IT operations and architecture
• Experience in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation) and automated deployment (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab-CI, AWS CodePipeline)
• Familiarity with networking at the DNS, routing, VPN, virtual network, IP level
• Knowledge at the operating system level with Windows Server or Linux is an advantage
• Experience with applications like Tableau Server, Active Directory, Keycloak, OpenLDAP is a plus
• Broad knowledge in relational databases, NoSQL, IT security, automation, deployment, system migrations, IT networks, and infrastructures
• Experience with monitoring systems like Icinga, PRTG, Nagios, Spiceworks or Zabbix or AWS CloudWatch

Responsibilities

• Capture customer requirements and develop suitable system architectures on AWS or other infrastructure providers
• Support the transformation and migration of existing on-premise applications to cloud platforms
• Advise customers on the design and development of complex business intelligence architectures and data infrastructures
