Job summary
Statista is seeking a DevOps Engineer to maintain and scale hosting for client-facing dashboards and production applications. The role involves owning uptime, security, monitoring, alerting, and incident response, as well as designing and automating CI/CD pipelines and supporting deployments. The engineer will also build and maintain infrastructure for agent-based AI workflows and manage integrations between LLMs, APIs, and backend systems.

Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS (VPC, ALB, ECS/EKS, CloudFront, S3, SQS, WAF, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch)
- Apply Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation)
- Proven experience designing and automating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions
- Experience with frontend deployment pipelines
- Familiarity with APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as CloudWatch and Datadog
- Strong sense of ownership over system reliability and incident response
Responsibilities
- Maintain and scale hosting for client-facing dashboards and production applications

- Support deployments (React/Next.js), collaborate on architecture and feasibility decisions
