DevOps-Engineer (m/w/d)

Job summary

The hessische Steuerverwaltung is seeking a DevOps Engineer to drive the digitalization of the Hessian tax administration and work on innovative projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience with Linux container technologies and on-premise infrastructures
• Proficient in GitLab, GitOps, and CI/CD
• Experience developing or operating web applications with database access
• Knowledge of automation tools like Ansible or Terraform and MLOps frameworks
• Understanding of the ML lifecycle

Responsibilities

• Drive digitalization of the Hessian tax administration
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitLab
• Implement GitOps principles with ArgoCD for deployment on Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary projects with various departments
• Integrate IT and application requirements
• Support users in utilizing digital tools independently and securely
• Manage and develop Kubernetes and OpenShift infrastructure
