DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) AWS Cloud Crossplane

Job summary

Schmitt Engineering is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build, configure, and operate an AWS Cloud platform using Crossplane.

Qualifications

• Practical experience with Crossplane and DevOps Engineer experience in AWS
• Knowledge in AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and GitOps
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and automated processes
• Experience in operating cloud platforms in regulated environments
• Proficient with VS Code, GitHub Copilot, Jira, and Confluence
• Experience with monitoring and observability solutions is desirable
• Knowledge of AWS EKS Networking is a plus
• Knowledge of Go in Kubernetes and experience in large IT projects is ideal
• Fluent in German and good command of English

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and operate an AWS Cloud platform with Crossplane
• Develop technology architectures
• Plan and implement migration scenarios
• Automate infrastructure using GitOps principles
• Manage build, release, and deployment processes
• Ensure stable and secure cloud operations
• Define and implement operational, monitoring, automation, and testing concepts
