DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) - Azure DevOps & CI/CD

Job summary

fair parken, a leading provider of smart parking solutions in Germany, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team. The role involves designing and expanding CI/CD pipelines, managing containerized applications, and administering Linux servers. The ideal candidate will have experience with Azure DevOps, Docker, and Linux systems.

Qualifications

• Completed IT training (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) or a degree in computer science or comparable qualification.
• Practical experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines and/or Octopus Deploy.
• Knowledge of Linux system administration, especially Ubuntu or Debian.
• Experience in automating tasks with PowerShell and ideally with Bash.
• Practical experience with container technologies like Docker; experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, structured, and solution-oriented.
• Maintain an overview in demanding situations and approach problems analytically.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and expand CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy.
• Operate and maintain containerized applications based on Docker.
• Administer, operate, and support internal Linux servers and systems.
• Support the standardization and automation of recurring IT and operational processes.
• Monitor and optimize the system landscape using monitoring and visualization tools like Grafana and Checkmk.
• Analyze disruptions, identify causes, and work on sustainable solutions to increase system stability.
• Support incident and downtime cases and contribute to the rapid restoration of critical systems and services.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer within the team.
• Participate in on-call duty after successful training and ensure the operation of critical systems with the team.
