DevOps Engineer (m/w/d)

Job summary

Seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the operation and development of a critical control and planning platform for a mobility and transport company in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in operating productive IT applications in AWS cloud environments
• Solid experience with Kubernetes in production (> 3 years)
• Proven experience with Terraform or OpenTofu (> 3 years)
• Practical knowledge in operating critical applications and structured incident management
• Broad knowledge of the AWS cloud ecosystem and AWS cloud security
• Experience with GitOps and modern deployment tools
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools
• Knowledge in automating release and CI/CD processes

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the application and AWS cloud infrastructure
• Analyze and resolve incidents and security issues, perform patching and updates
• Manage and develop automated infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or OpenTofu
• Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters, assist with deployments and configure automated node scaling
• Maintain and configure AWS IAM roles, secrets, and encryption
• Support PostgreSQL integration and manage event streaming infrastructure
• Oversee monitoring and logging systems, set up automated update processes, and develop automation scripts
• Create technical documentation and contribute to process optimization
