DevOps Engineer (m/w/d)

Job summary

Seeking a DevOps Engineer in Hamburg to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensure smooth deployments in cloud environments, and implement software components in Java.

Qualifications

• Completed education or degree in computer science or equivalent qualification
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines and deploying large software applications, preferably with GitLab
• Practical knowledge of operating applications on Kubernetes platforms, preferably OpenShift, using ELK stack and monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus
• Knowledge in versioning and release management of software applications, preferably with Git
• Familiarity with Java and current version features, technologies like REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, frameworks like Spring Boot and/or Quarkus, and relational databases
• Reliability, independent and methodical work style, and enjoyment of collaboration in an agile team
