DevOps Engineer (m/w/d)

Job summary

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the conception, setup, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast and smooth deployments in cloud environments, and containerizing modern web applications. This role also involves configuring monitoring and alerting systems, implementing and developing Java software components, and actively participating in agile development processes.

Qualifications

• Completed education or degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines and deploying large software applications, preferably with GitLab
• Experience in configuration management of distributed applications
• Practical knowledge in operating applications on Kubernetes platforms, preferably OpenShift
• Experience using the ELK-Stack and monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus
• Knowledge in versioning and release management of software applications, preferably with Git
• Knowledge of Java and its current versions
• Familiarity with common technologies such as REST, SOAP, JSON, XML
• Experience with common frameworks like Spring Boot and/or Quarkus
• Proficiency in handling relational databases
• Reliability

• Enjoyment of collaboration in an agile team
