Job summary

Seeking a DevOps Engineer in Berlin to optimize performance, troubleshoot systems, improve services through testing, and develop sustainable systems via automation.

Qualifications

• Completed degree or comparable education in Computer Science with relevant IT experience
• Solid experience in Linux / RHEL administration
• Practical experience with OpenShift and CI/CD pipelines
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals and containerization
• Experience in incident management, on-call duty, and conducting postmortems
• Understanding of security concepts, secrets management, and access control
• Analytical, service-oriented work style and enjoyment of working in agile teams

Responsibilities

• Analyze metrics, operating systems, and applications for performance optimization and troubleshooting
• Improve services through consistent testing and release procedures within a cross-functional team
• Develop sustainable systems and services through automation and continuous improvements
• Balance feature development and reliability with clearly defined service-level objectives
• Document best practices and support cross-departmental knowledge sharing
