Job summary
This infrastructure and DevOps role focuses on improving on-premises and cloud environments through automation, standardization, security, and resilient operations. The work includes introducing and operating Kubernetes, developing GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Terraform/Ansible infrastructure as code, supporting ISO 27001 audits and compliance, and strengthening business continuity and multi-site redundancy. The environment includes VMware, Docker, ElasticSearch, and Postgres.

Qualifications
- Computer science degree, equivalent training, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least three years of experience across container platforms, automation, virtualization, and security or compliance.
- Strong VMware experience, including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter; basic Proxmox knowledge.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including implementation, scaling, and maintenance.
- Strong Ansible skills and basic Terraform knowledge.
- Scripting experience with Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience with cloud solutions and on-premises data centers.
- Knowledge of ElasticSearch for log management and monitoring.
- Experience implementing ISO 27001 requirements in DevOps processes.
- Experience with tenant isolation, data encryption, access controls, and secure customer system connections.
- Experience with business continuity management and disaster recovery.
- Experience planning and implementing multi-site solutions for site redundancy.
- Basic database knowledge, particularly Postgres.
- Windows Server experience is an advantage.
- German proficiency at C1 level or higher and English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
Responsibilities
- Optimize on-premises and cloud infrastructure, emphasizing automation, standardization, and security.
- Introduce and operate Kubernetes to improve deployment processes.
- Develop GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Terraform and Ansible infrastructure-as-code solutions.
- Support ISO 27001 security audits and implement compliance requirements.
- Improve business continuity management to support high availability and site redundancy.
- Collaborate with operations, development, and customer project teams.
