Qualifications

  • Completed IHK training as IT specialist (application development or system integration) or
  • University degree (at least Bachelor's) in computer science or
  • University degree in another field with at least three years of proven professional experience in software development and project management or
  • At least five years of proven professional experience, skills, or knowledge in software development and project management
  • At least one year of proven professional experience with distributed systems interacting via REST interfaces
  • At least one year of proven professional experience with distributed version control using Git
  • Willingness to engage with gender and diversity competence
  • Unrestricted willingness to travel for business
  • Advanced knowledge in IT networks and operational IT security
  • Experience with containerized infrastructures (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Container-Repositories)
  • Knowledge of various methods for requirements gathering and documentation
  • Knowledge and experience in classic and agile IT project management (preferably with public sector relevance)
  • Knowledge and experience with modern software development (e.g., Enterprise Java, Git, (No)SQL databases)
  • Decisiveness and sense of responsibility
  • Persuasiveness and confident demeanor with internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Accompany software lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment
  • Coordinate planning, provision, and maintenance of containerized IT environments
  • Gather technical requirements and advise on implementation
  • Prioritize requirements and implement in sprints
  • Manage and control IT service providers
  • Develop and implement concepts for monitoring, logging, and backup
  • Plan, specify, and execute regression, load, and failure tests
  • Evaluate new technologies and methods
