Job summary

Develops, tests, and operates software solutions and interfaces that automate and optimize document-based processes in healthcare. The role includes requirements analysis, improving and scaling database-backed document management applications, administering the supporting systems, and advising on technical solutions. Work includes agile collaboration, code reviews, and automated testing, using relational SQL databases such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server and technologies including JavaScript frameworks, Groovy, and optionally PowerShell and Java.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development and operations.
  • At least 5 years of experience developing or maintaining database-backed document management applications.
  • Strong knowledge of relational SQL databases and database design, including Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with traditional and agile project management methods and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and Groovy.
  • PowerShell, Java, and test automation experience are desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, solution orientation, communication, conflict resolution, and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and operate software solutions and interfaces for process automation and optimization.
  • Analyze and implement business and technical requirements in agile teams.
  • Optimize and scale existing applications and processes.
  • Improve delivery quality through code reviews and automated testing.
  • Administer document management systems.
  • Advise on technical solutions within IT and with business departments.
