DevOps Engineer (m/w/d)

Job summary

As a DevOps Engineer at LMIS AG, you will be part of a Managed Services team responsible for developing and operating modern multi-cloud and application platforms based on Microsoft Azure, AWS, and T Cloud Public.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in DevOps, cloud, and platform environments
• Solid practical experience with at least one cloud platform
• Willingness to learn additional cloud platforms
• Experience with Kubernetes-based container platforms, especially OKD/OpenShift, and Docker
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
• Git and modern CI/CD, deployment, and release processes
• Automation with Ansible or similar tools
• Experience with another cloud platform or hybrid/multi-cloud environments
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Relevant cloud or platform certifications

Responsibilities

• Automate system environment provisioning in Microsoft Azure, AWS, and T Cloud Public using Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform
• Operate and develop container platforms based on OKD/OpenShift
• Optimize cloud and system landscapes across different platforms
• Plan and accompany deployments, updates, and releases
• Analyze disruptions and performance issues in complex cloud and platform environments
• Develop cross-platform standards and concepts for automation, monitoring, and secure operation
• Collaborate closely with development teams
• Participate in on-call duty after onboarding
• Document cloud and system landscapes, deployments, and operational processes
