Job summary

Develop technical platform for Linux-based production and testing systems, focusing on CI/CD, deployment, and technical foundation of field devices.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in software development or DevOps environment
• Good knowledge of Python and solid understanding of Linux systems
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitLab CI
• Experience with Docker and container-based development and deployment processes
• Scripting and automation experience, e.g., with Python or Bash
• Understanding of build, test, and release processes in established software landscapes
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented work style
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of collaboration in a small, technical team

Responsibilities

• Build new software platform for production systems
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for Python and C++ projects
• Dockerize applications and develop robust build, test, and deployment processes
• Design and enhance deployment solutions for internal servers and field devices
• Contribute to development of operating system basis for field devices following DevOps and GitOps principles
• Evaluate and introduce new technical approaches
