Job summary
The DevOps Engineer operates, develops, and scales a Kubernetes environment supporting applications in the packaging-recycling domain. The role builds CI/CD pipelines and GitOps release processes, manages Linux servers, and improves system availability, performance, security, monitoring, logging, and incident response using technologies including GitLab, ArgoCD, Prometheus, Grafana, and Graylog.

Qualifications
- Degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent vocational training
- Professional experience operating or automating IT systems, such as in DevOps, system administration, or infrastructure-focused software development
- Understanding of containers and container orchestration
- Experience with CI/CD tools and Git
- Solid Linux and networking knowledge, and scripting experience
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach, with willingness to learn new technologies
- Good German communication skills
Responsibilities
- Operate, develop, and scale the Kubernetes environment
- Design and improve CI/CD pipelines from builds and automated tests through deployment
- Establish and continuously improve automated, traceable GitOps release processes
- Maintain high system availability and performance
- Manage and configure Linux servers
- Improve monitoring, logging, and alerting, and help analyze and resolve incidents
- Collaborate with development teams to continuously improve processes
- Integrate security considerations into the platform and pipelines
