Job summary

The DevOps Engineer role is essential for managing and automating the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of software applications within cloud infrastructures like AWS, Azure, and GCP. Responsibilities include implementing infrastructure as code with tools such as Ansible and Terraform, developing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring system performance and security best practices are upheld.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in an equivalent role
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Comfortable working in Linux environments
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash)
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with database management systems (Oracle, MongoDB, Clickhouse)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
• Proficiency in providing technical support and gathering requirements
• Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Manage, configure and operate cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) for high availability and scalability
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Collaborate with teams to design and implement infrastructure as code
• Ensure security best practices in infrastructure and deployment
• Document daily activities in JIRA and maintain comprehensive documentation
• Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 production support
• Support installation and configuration of products in cloud platforms
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automation
