DevOps Engineer

Job summary

The DevOps Engineer role involves developing and modifying custom applications and scripts across various platforms while ensuring system architecture maintains versatility and consistency. Key responsibilities include implementing automation tools with Ansible, developing applications using Rust and Python, and maintaining custom software applications and services to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w/polygraph
• Custom development experience using Linux based servers
• 3+ years of experience using Rust and/or Python
• Experience with Rust preferred; ability to learn new languages considered
• Experience implementing automation tools using Ansible
• Experience implementing custom apps using Docker
• Experience maintaining custom application code bases
• Strong written/verbal communications and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team and as an individual contributor
• Experience with agile development methodologies

Responsibilities

• Develop and/or modify custom applications and scripts across multiple platforms
• Maintain custom software applications and services
• Recommend and implement improvements to existing software solutions
• Maintain system architecture for versatility and consistency
• Provide input to software configuration and system documentation
• Attend meetings and reviews
