DevOps Engineer MDOCore (w/m/d)

Job summary

HENSOLDT is seeking a DevOps Engineer MDOCore to develop and maintain CI/CD infrastructure for their digital platform, MDOCore. The role involves automating build, test, and deployment processes, as well as collaborating with various teams to ensure a stable software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related field
• Several years of practical experience in DevOps, CI/CD, platform, or software engineering
• Good knowledge of build systems, pipeline automation, deployment processes, and artifact management
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Tekton, Argo CD, or similar solutions
• Practical experience with containers, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, GitOps, or similar platform technologies
• Good knowledge of Linux, shell scripting, and at least one scripting or programming language
• Ability to systematically analyze complex build, integration, and deployment issues and implement sustainable solutions
• Structured, responsible, and team-oriented work style with a passion for automation and technical problem-solving
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD infrastructure for MDOCore
• Develop and automate build, test, release, and deployment processes
• Operate and enhance development, integration, test, and reference environments
• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code, deployment scripts, Helm charts, and GitOps configurations
• Integrate automated tests, security checks, quality gates, and compliance evidence into CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze and resolve pipeline, build, deployment, and infrastructure issues
• Collaborate with software development, test engineering, product owners, system architecture, cybersecurity, and IT operations
