Job summary
The DevOps Engineer will implement delivery and infrastructure strategies and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of production APIs, including model inference APIs. The role involves automating software delivery, managing secure and highly available AWS environments, and helping deploy software to enterprise client servers using infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and containerization tools.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or significant Software Engineering experience.
- Two to five years of DevOps engineering experience.
- Experience with large-scale, secure, highly available AWS solutions and deployment automation using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Experience deploying, managing, and optimizing production APIs.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in one or more of Bash, Python, or Go.
- Ability to troubleshoot and identify root causes of infrastructure and security issues.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Good command of English; another EU language is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of model inference and other APIs.
- Implement DevOps strategies for the organization.
- Automate software delivery processes in collaboration with development and operations teams.
- Identify and implement tools and processes to improve software development and delivery.
- Address customer needs and communicate trends and proposed solutions to leadership.
- Help deploy the software stack to Fortune 500 clients’ servers.
- Prioritize work, take ownership of outcomes, and make decisions under tight timelines and incomplete information.
