Job summary
The DevOps Engineer maintains and improves mobile core services that carry data traffic and provide connectivity for millions of users. The role automates 4G/5G Packet Core platforms through CI/CD pipelines, monitors performance, stability, and security, troubleshoots complex issues, and supports critical systems through standby shifts. The network is introducing technologies including 5G Standalone and Network Slicing.

Qualifications
- Live in the Netherlands.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Higher professional education level or equivalent, preferably in IT, telecommunications, or a technical field.
- Interest in DevOps, automation, and modern IT environments.
- Basic knowledge of one or more of Kubernetes, container platforms, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Linux, Python, Ansible, or Bash.
- Interest in mobile networks, 4G, 5G, and IP networks.
- Willingness to participate in standby shifts.
- Affinity with both IT and telecommunications technology.
Responsibilities
- Manage and automate 4G/5G Packet Core platforms.
- Use CI/CD pipelines to automate network function management.
- Monitor, analyze, and improve performance, stability, and security.
- Troubleshoot complex issues with technical and commercial teams.
- Participate in standby shifts to maintain continuity of critical systems.
