DevOps Engineer Network, Security & Communication (m/w/d)

Job summary

The role focuses on enhancing and maintaining network, security, and communication infrastructures, specifically in Content Security. Key responsibilities include defining and implementing Data Leakage Prevention solutions, managing Proxy, Mail, Loadbalancer, and DNS infrastructures, and providing application support for IT-Security platforms, utilizing technologies such as Linux and Python.

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent
• Several years of practical experience in application support or operation of security applications
• Good knowledge of network protocols, security technologies, and Linux operating systems (preferably RHEL)
• Extensive experience in automation across different platforms, ideally with Python
• Ability to independently design stable and secure enterprise-level applications
• Proficient in designing, developing, integrating, and automating network and security solutions
• Experience in project management and managing interfaces with suppliers and integration partners
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Define and implement Data Leakage Prevention solutions
• Manage Proxy, Mail, Loadbalancer, and DNS infrastructures
• Design, document, and implement secure application solutions
• Support architecture in implementing new functionalities
• Advise and assist internal and external stakeholders on technical issues
• Take responsibility for IT-Security platform systems including engineering, maintenance, and on-call duty
