Job summary

DevOps Engineer - On Premises Cloud position in Bonn focused on Kubernetes environments and infrastructure automation.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Kubernetes On-Premises
• Knowledge of container technologies like Docker, containerd, or CRI-O
• Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
• Strong Linux administration skills (Ubuntu, RHEL, SLES, etc.)
• Scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, Go preferred)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
• Certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS) are a plus
• Team spirit and responsibility in operating critical systems

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate On-Premises Kubernetes environments
• Automate infrastructure processes using IaC tools
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor, log, and alert on platform performance
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of the container platform
• Integrate new services and microservices into Kubernetes
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance in complex clusters
• Implement security measures such as RBAC and image scanning
• Integrate and operate bare-metal storage solutions for Kubernetes
• Manage CSI drivers and distributed storage systems
• Oversee lifecycle management of Kubernetes clusters
• Collaborate closely with development teams
