Job summary
The DevOps Engineer focuses on reliable operations for the Informatieportaal Justitiabelen (Injus), supporting a multidisciplinary team that maintains and develops services used in the justice and security domain. The role manages a migration to Docker and Kubernetes, improves system stability, performance, and security through monitoring and alerting with tools such as Elastic, Prometheus, or Centreon, and supports releases, operational documentation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- HBO-level working and thinking ability.
- Demonstrated experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Experience developing monitoring and observability solutions.
- Experience with Linux.
- Experience working in an agile, multidisciplinary DevOps team.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to give and receive feedback, document clearly, and take ownership.
- Ability to understand Java code is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and improve system stability and performance by analyzing anomalies and implementing lasting improvements.
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end monitoring and alerting.
- Guide colleagues technically, standardize working practices, and initiate improvements.
- Analyze and document operational processes and share knowledge.
- Support production releases.
- Ensure compliance with organization-wide security and compliance standards and initiate improvements.
- Take ownership of operations for the Docker and Kubernetes environment.
