Job summary
The DevOps Engineer builds and operates infrastructure for a high-performance AI inference platform, maintaining reliable, scalable, secure, and cost-efficient production systems. The role covers Linux servers, Docker and Kubernetes workloads, ArgoCD GitOps deployments, GitLab CI pipelines, backups, and monitoring with Grafana, Loki, and Prometheus. The engineer also supports a planned AWS migration, investigates production incidents, and participates in an on-call rotation.

Qualifications
- At least 3 years of DevOps or infrastructure experience
- Knowledge of AWS EC2, ECS, VPC, IAM, S3, and RDS
- Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps deployments
- Experience building and maintaining GitLab CI pipelines
- Strong Docker experience
- Experience managing Linux servers and troubleshooting production issues
- Experience with Nginx, DNS, SSL/TLS, and basic networking
- Hands-on experience with Grafana, Loki, and Prometheus
- Basic Bash or Python scripting skills
- Good communication and a strong sense of ownership
- Comfort working remotely
Responsibilities
- Operate and improve self-managed infrastructure and Linux servers
- Support planning for a future AWS migration
- Set up, harden, update, and troubleshoot servers
- Maintain system availability, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Establish database and storage backups and recovery procedures
- Containerize services with Docker and operate production Kubernetes workloads
- Manage GitOps deployments with ArgoCD
- Build and maintain GitLab CI pipelines and automate operational tasks
- Improve deployment safety with automated checks and rollback options
- Maintain monitoring, logging, dashboards, and alerting with Grafana, Loki, and Prometheus
- Investigate production issues, contribute to post-mortems, and implement fixes
- Participate in the on-call rotation
- Apply security practices across infrastructure, servers, and pipelines
