DevOps Engineer

Job summary

Build and scale cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and automation systems for grid-scale sodium-ion battery storage software as deployments grow from pilot projects to gigawatt-scale production. The role spans Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, cloud database provisioning, automated testing, and infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting. Work closely with software, test, and manufacturing engineering teams to improve reliability and deployment workflows.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or a related technical role.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience managing PostgreSQL or similar relational databases in the cloud.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or another scripting language for infrastructure automation.
• Experience with cloud networking, access management, monitoring, and infrastructure security.
• Experience supporting software deployments and troubleshooting production infrastructure.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerized application deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure for battery storage software, data pipelines, and engineering applications.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software builds, testing, and deployment across development and production environments.
• Provision and manage scalable cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Integrate automated testing and validation into development and deployment workflows.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to improve infrastructure reliability, performance, and observability.
