DevOps Engineer Platform Services (m/w/d)

Job summary

Seeking a DevOps Engineer Platform Services to automate IT processes, develop Managed Services, and provide technical consultation. The role involves evaluating new technologies, planning micro-service architectures, and documenting work.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, or an IT education with relevant professional experience
• Relevant professional experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and deploying large software applications
• Proficient in Docker/Kubernetes, with knowledge of RedHat Openshift and Istio
• Experienced with logging tools such as Elasticsearch, Fluentd, and Kibana
• Experienced with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager
• Fundamental understanding of DevOps principles and interest in their practical application
• Basic knowledge of Java, Microservices architectures, and API design (REST, Messaging)
• Analytical and service-oriented work approach

Responsibilities

• Automate IT processes including Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and test automation
• Perform independent administration and configuration tasks
• Evaluate new technologies and pursue continuous professional development
• Develop Managed Services to simplify development and operational processes
• Provide technical consultation to Product Owners and Software-Engineering-Teams on product and project requirements
• Plan and develop Micro-Service architectures
• Document work results and systems in ticketing and knowledge platforms
