Job summary
The DevOps Engineer improves automation, reliability, and scalability across software delivery pipelines and cloud infrastructure, supporting development and production environments. The role builds GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows, manages Azure resources and Terraform-based infrastructure, and supports hybrid and multi-cloud deployments. It also strengthens monitoring, security, and incident response using tools such as Datadog, Azure Monitor, PowerShell, and Bash.

Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
- Proficiency with Azure resource provisioning, networking, and security.
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Bash.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes or AKS.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog and Azure Monitor.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and cloud security best practices.
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps or a related engineering role.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests, and deployments.
- Integrate pipelines with Azure services and support multi-cloud deployments.
- Manage GitHub repositories, branching strategies, and pull request workflows.
- Support migration of codebases from Azure DevOps to GitHub.
- Provision and manage Azure resources, including VMs, AKS, App Services, Function Apps, API Management Gateway, and Azure Container Apps.
- Implement and maintain Terraform infrastructure as code.
- Support hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, VPN configuration, and network security.
- Automate operational tasks using PowerShell or Bash.
- Monitor and optimize application and infrastructure performance with Datadog and Azure Monitor.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues and production outages, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD workflows and manage secrets and credentials securely.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical discussions and process improvements.
