Job summary
DevOps Engineer responsible for delivering and deploying software solutions supporting Royal Navy Combat Systems. Manage CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and collaborate with stakeholders for secure integration and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms
- Experience with Helm, Ansible and infrastructure automation
- Working knowledge of Docker and/or Podman
- Experience building, maintaining and supporting CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or Software Engineering environments
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain Security Clearance (SC)
Responsibilities
- Manage and configure CI/CD pipelines
- Deploy and support containerised applications within secure environments
- Investigate and resolve deployment and infrastructure issues
- Develop automation solutions to improve delivery and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the NCSISS programme
- Produce technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
