Job summary
Design and maintain automated DevOps infrastructure for testing and deploying software onto radar hardware, combining cloud infrastructure with on-premises bare-metal installations. Responsibilities include streamlining production workflows, integrating security checks, monitoring system performance and reliability, and documenting infrastructure and processes. The environment uses Linux, Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, Prometheus, Grafana, and related tools to support radar systems used in defence, aviation, and other domains.

Qualifications
- More than 3 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role
- Expertise in Linux, particularly Ubuntu
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Jira
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, particularly Ansible, as well as Terraform, Helm, or Argo CD
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki
- Hands-on experience with VMware and Kubernetes
- Experience containerizing high-performance native applications with Docker multi-stage builds
- Strong understanding of IP networks and system administration
- Residence in the Netherlands within commuting distance of The Hague
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure for testing and deploying software on radar products.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks and reduce manual intervention.
- Integrate automated security checks and controls into workflows.
- Develop and run tests to monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure availability and reliability.
- Collaborate across teams to identify automation opportunities and implement scalable solutions.
- Analyze processes and recommend improvements to performance, security, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, processes, and tools.
