Job summary
SAIC is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to contribute to the development and maintenance of cloud-based applications and services. The role requires strong technical expertise in cloud infrastructure and containerization, bridging the gap between software development and IT operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
- TS/SCI with polygraph.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and AWS experience.
Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud environments across AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and implement infrastructure automation using Terraform and Packer, promoting reproducible, version-controlled infrastructure deployments.
- CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build and maintain robust continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to streamline code deployment and reduce release cycles.
- Security & Compliance: Collaborate with cybersecurity team to embed best practices into the DevOps lifecycle, including secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance automation.
