DevOps Engineer Senior

The DevOps Engineer Senior role involves combining development and operations to enhance the efficiency, speed, and security of software development and delivery.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of programming experience with knowledge of one programming language
• Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
• Knowledge of software engineering principles
• Experience with source code management tools
• Familiarity with Artifactory or a repository manager product
• Experience with database schemas for SQL, Oracle, or Sybase
• Experience administering Windows Server 2012/2016 and SQL servers
• Experience in build and release processes and source code management
• Skill in multiple technical environments and knowledge of a specific business area
• Proficiency in high-level languages like Java, JavaScript, C#, Visual Basic
• Experience with scripting languages like Windows PowerShell, Unix, Shell
• Fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Assist in production support
• Deploy new modules, upgrades, and fixes to the production environment
• Make modules production ready by moving them to libraries and completing version control documents
• Install and configure solutions
• Develop and implement reusable components
• Work on moderate to complex tasks in support of projects
• Work as a project team member or independently on small projects
