DevOps Engineer (Senior)

Job summary

The Senior DevOps Engineer supports deployment, automation, and sustainment of mission-critical systems in a secure environment. The role develops CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, Jenkins, and GitHub; manages containerized deployments and orchestration; and automates application and infrastructure deployments across Windows and Linux. The work uses technologies including AWS, Docker, Terraform, CloudFormation, Databricks, Redis, Spring Boot, and PKI.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of DevOps, systems engineering, or related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Hands-on experience with container deployment technologies
• Experience with AWS, Docker, ALB, Terraform, CloudFormation, Databricks, AWS Redis, Spring Boot, and PKI
• Strong experience with GitLab, Jenkins, and GitHub
• Experience automating deployments across Windows and Linux
• Active Top Secret security clearance required at hire
• Kubernetes experience preferred
• Experience supporting DoD or federal programs preferred
• Familiarity with secure or classified development environments preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and GitHub
• Develop and support containerized deployments in enterprise environments
• Automate application and infrastructure deployments across Windows and Linux
• Support and optimize container orchestration platforms
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve deployment efficiency
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, and environment issues
• Document DevOps processes, standards, and best practices
