Job summary

Seeking a DevOps Engineer/System Administrator for the Defense & Security sector in Ottobrunn.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining complex IT systems and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with installation and maintenance of Windows and Linux-based tools
• Practical experience with customer service portals and ticket systems in agile processes
• Experience with military standards and approval processes, military background, and knowledge of ITIL and/or V-Model XT is advantageous
• Fluent in German and English with intercultural competencies and customer interaction experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure a stable tool landscape for software development
• Ensure operational readiness of IT systems and test systems
• Create balanced commissioning specifications with documentation
• Support interdisciplinary project teams with system configurations and maintenance plans
• Document and address faulty events during on-site operations
• Install and maintain customer systems independently
• Provide first-level support and represent the company on-site
• Act as main contact for colleagues and lead subprojects
• Support acquisition and sales activities focused on service and maintenance
