DevOps Engineer

Job summary

The DevOps Engineer role is essential for supporting and evolving a pricing generation and distribution system for Fixed Income products. Responsibilities include managing Linux environments, troubleshooting containerized workloads with Docker and Podman, developing automation scripts in Bash, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines to optimize software delivery and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Linux environments
• Practical experience with container technologies such as Docker and Podman
• Advanced Bash scripting skills
• Experience with AWS services and managing hybrid deployments across private and public cloud environments
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals
• Experience with CI/CD and automation tooling such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Ansible, or similar technologies
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, or equivalent solutions
• Professional level of English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux-based environments
• Support and troubleshoot containerized workloads using Docker and Podman
• Investigate and resolve production incidents and platform issues
• Support hybrid deployments across private and public cloud environments
• Ensure platform stability, availability, and performance
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts using Bash
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery
• Contribute to infrastructure automation and operational efficiency initiatives
• Promote DevOps best practices across the platform ecosystem
• Maintain and enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
• Build and support dashboards and telemetry systems
• Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and reliability risks
• Improve observability capabilities to support business-critical applications
• Partner with software engineers, architects, and infrastructure teams on deployment and modernization initiatives
• Support the migration and transformation of legacy systems
• Contribute to platform improvement projects and cloud adoption strategies
