DevOps Engineer

Job summary

Seeking a security-conscious DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to join the infrastructure team. This role focuses on bringing stability, scalability, and security maturity to an evolving platform, contributing to its reliability, security posture, and long-term direction. The engineer will work closely with the Infrastructure Lead and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in DevOps / infrastructure roles in production environments.
• Security-conscious approach to infrastructure and engineering work.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS desired) and modern DevOps practices.
• Exposure to security / SecOps concerns.
• Comfortable operating in evolving environments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and improve cloud infrastructure, reliability, and operational posture.
• Design, maintain, and evolve Infrastructure as Code.
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment flows, and operational automation.
• Actively contribute to security and compliance practices, including baseline controls, audits, and reviews.
• Support observability and monitoring across the platform.
• Help reduce single points of failure across infrastructure and DevOps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, focusing on prevention and long-term fixes.
• Work closely with engineering teams to support delivery.
• Pair and collaborate regularly with the Infrastructure Lead.
• Help shape standards, patterns, and ways of working.
• Provide practical input into future infrastructure and security decisions.
• Participate in technical discussions around platform direction and trade-offs.
