Job summary
The DevOps Engineer role is centered on enhancing SaaS offerings through the implementation and management of continuous delivery systems on Azure. Responsibilities include automating deployments with Terraform and Azure DevOps, optimizing virtual networking and database administration, and ensuring security best practices across the Azure infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a SaaS environment using Azure
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, virtual networking, database administration, and Azure security practices
- Proficiency in at least one Azure scripting language (PowerShell, Azure CLI, etc.)
- Understanding of software development life cycles and system administration
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on Azure
- Design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and tools for software development and release
- Automate processes and deployments using Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Azure scripting languages
- Optimize virtual networking configurations and database administration for security and performance
- Employ security best practices throughout Azure infrastructure
- Monitor and troubleshoot operational issues
- Document and refine processes for smooth deployments and updates
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve system issues
