DevOps Engineer

Job summary

As a DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines, collaborating closely with engineering teams to enhance developer experience and system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS using Infrastructure as Code
• Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
• Improve platform scalability, resilience, availability, and performance
• Continuously optimise cloud resources to balance performance and cost
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity, Git, AWS deployment services, and related tooling
• Automate software build, testing, and deployment processes to enable fast, reliable releases
• Work closely with engineering teams to improve deployment practices and developer workflows
• Support teams in adopting DevOps best practices across the software delivery lifecycle
• Monitor infrastructure and application health using tools such as CloudWatch and Dynatrace
• Investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term improvements
• Manage logging, monitoring, and observability to improve system reliability and operational insight
• Support disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives
• Partner with Software Engineers, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams to deliver secure, reliable platforms
• Participate in technical reviews and contribute operational expertise throughout the development lifecycle
• Champion automation, continuous improvement, and a DevOps culture across engineering teams
• Produce clear documentation to support knowledge sharing and operational excellence
• Embed security into infrastructure and deployment pipelines using DevSecOps principles
• Ensure infrastructure aligns with security standards and compliance requirements
• Support vulnerability management, patching, and infrastructure hardening
