Job summary
UST is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their software development team, focusing on internal actuarial solution cloud platforms. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud deployment strategies with a strong emphasis on cloud-first methodologies.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of DevOps/Infrastructure experience with expertise in cloud platforms and automation.
- Hands-on experience with AWS including EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, and RDS.
- Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, and PowerShell for automation.
- Experience in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure with automated provisioning and configuration management.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Implement timely decisions on infrastructure and deployment problems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Support legacy infrastructure and deployment processes while new cloud-native solutions are built.
- Seek continuous quality improvements for infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Mentor and coach implementation teams on DevOps practices and tools.
