DevOps Engineer (w/d/m) – Cloud, Automation & Security

Job summary

Responsible for stable operation, optimization, and expansion of multi-cloud system landscape, including software development and process automation.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT infrastructure operations (System Engineering / DevOps) and software development
• Proficient in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript) and API design
• Familiar with cloud environments, ideally with a focus on AWS and experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong awareness of IT security (e.g., SecOps / Blue Teaming) and basic knowledge of compliance topics (ISMS, ISO 27001)
• Interest in contributing to AI governance and AI-native security
• Team player with strong communication skills and fluent in German and good English
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty for stable IT infrastructure operation

Responsibilities

• Manage reliable operation, maintenance, and scaling of cloud environments in a multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and internal IT assets (Linux Server, MacOS, Windows Clients)
• Design and develop software solutions for automating internal workflows and build robust APIs for seamless system integration
• Monitor IT landscape using observability methods, identify irregularities early, and initiate system hardening measures
• Oversee CVE tracking, identify vulnerabilities in operations, and support ISMS team in analyzing and resolving IT security incidents
• Implement concepts for AI-native security operations and ensure compliance with AI governance and TOMs
