HENSOLDT Optronics GmbH is seeking a DevOps Engineer for the Ground & Naval Software division in Wetzlar. The role involves developing and maintaining software solutions, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and administering Linux systems. The successful candidate will work with modern software technologies and contribute to a motivated development team.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience with CI/CD systems
• Profound knowledge in Linux administration, preferably Arch Linux or derivatives
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash and Python for automation
• Experience with container technologies
• Good understanding of network concepts, security, and system hardening
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools is a plus
• Independent, structured work ethic and teamwork ability
• Team player with strong social competence and enthusiasm
• Analytical thinking and readiness for personal responsibility
• Very good English and German language skills

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions with customer-specific features
• Develop, maintain, and optimize automated build servers and CI/CD pipelines
