Job summary
ZTR Control Systems is seeking a DevOps Engineer to enhance their software infrastructure by collaborating with development, security, and IT teams.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Gitlab CI)
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker)
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems and networking fundamentals
- Expert scripting skills (Python, Bash)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana)
- Experience with backend Java services and database technologies (Postgres, NoSQL)
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Lead DevOps expertise and best practices
- Optimize and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
- Own networking, IAM, security groups, and infrastructure security
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployments
- Automate processes and configurations with tools like Terraform
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
- Ensure system security and compliance with ISO 27001
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues
- Maintain and review technical documentation
- Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotation
